Synergy Partners Law Firm participated in InvestShow 2016 held in Almaty

From May 18 to May 19 of 2016, an InvestShow event took place in Rixos Hotel, Almaty. The purpose of the event was to grant start-ups and existing businesses with an opportunity to attract investors for financing. Organized at the initiative of IRBIS – information agency of financial markets from KASE group, the event was held for the second time, gathering participants of different backgrounds and from various spheres like manufacturing, financial services, telecommunication, education, law, etc.

Synergy Partners represented the sphere of legal services, which play an essential part in any business activity. At the event partner of the law firm, Alzhan Stamkulov, gave a lecture on the legal aspects of attracting venture investments using an example of Chocolife. He explained the risks and dangers of such investments and gave some insight on the importance of legal procedures that are strongly connected with them.

As the idea of the event was to maximize the exposure of start-ups and growing businesses to the potential investors, Synergy Partners firm offered the visitors of InvestShow a possibility of having a reliable intermediary in the legal issues between the investor and the business. Financing, taxation, establishment of legal entities, legal audit and many other areas are involved in the development of start-ups and businesses. Thus, Synergy Partners contributed to the event by giving both visitors and participants some tips on different legal issues and, of course, we are looking forward to seeing the impact such event might have on the future of business sector of Kazakshtan.
